Conviction-Led Capital Placement
Capital placement through an allocator's lens — bridging emerging managers and the LPs positioned to back them.
The Firm
Capital placement rooted in institutional diligence.
Built on over a decade of experience in the alternative investment space, May Park Partners is a boutique capital placement firm focused on a highly curated group of emerging managers across venture capital and growth equity. Every mandate is underwritten through an allocator's lens before it is brought to a deep network of sophisticated investors. May Park works on only one to two mandates at a time, each carrying the weight of the firm's diligence and reputation.
Get In TouchOur Focus
The case for emerging managers is grounded in institutional precedent.
May Park focuses on emerging managers for the same reasons leading institutional allocators do: this is where the next generation of investment talent emerges, where GP-LP alignment is strongest, and where opportunity sits in segments larger platforms cannot serve at scale. Public pensions, endowments, and institutional research have long identified focused, high-conviction managers in their early fund cycles as a meaningful source of risk-adjusted returns.1
As venture's largest names scale into multi-strategy platforms, the most differentiated investing has moved back to a smaller cohort of firms — focused enough to underwrite each position deeply, and small enough that conviction, not capital, is the edge. It is a uniquely favorable moment to be an emerging manager, and a uniquely valuable one for the LPs positioned to back them.
Against this backdrop, May Park exists to provide access to the few who will define the next chapter.

Services
Capital placement across funds and direct investments.
Fund Placement
May Park partners with emerging venture capital and growth equity managers to raise capital for fund vehicles. Engagements typically span fund positioning, investor mapping and targeting, materials development, roadshow execution, and LP diligence support through final close.
Direct & Co-Investment Placement
May Park places capital for single-asset deals, SPVs, and co-investment opportunities alongside its GP partners. Ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices are particularly active here, where check sizes and decision timelines fit the pace of venture and growth direct deals.
LP Network
Capital raised through a deep network of long-standing relationships.
The emerging manager universe is vast. The managers worth backing are not. LPs work with May Park because every manager that reaches them is one the firm is willing to stake its reputation on.
Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals
Individuals with established alternative investment portfolios and an appetite for differentiated venture and growth opportunities.
Family Offices
Single and multi-family offices with active private markets programs and direct investment mandates.
Registered Investment Advisors
RIAs allocating to venture capital and growth equity on behalf of high-net-worth clients and platforms.
Institutional Allocators
Endowments, foundations, and other institutional platforms with established alternative investment allocations.
Leadership
Built on experience from both sides of the table.
Founder & Managing Partner
Danny founded May Park Partners to bring institutional-grade rigor to capital placement for the next generation of venture capital and growth equity managers. His career spans both sides of the table — evaluating and selecting managers on behalf of sophisticated institutional investors, and working alongside GPs to raise capital from the same investor base. Danny's selection lens emphasizes managers with high personal commitment to their funds, differentiated sourcing, demonstrated investment judgment in their prior roles, and a clear articulation of where their strategy fits in a consolidating market.
Prior to launching the firm, Danny served as Vice President at Uncommon Capital Group, originating, diligencing, and curating private market opportunities for a community of family offices and registered investment advisors. While in business school, Danny spent 20 months in the Lightbank ecosystem investing in and working with early-stage companies. Earlier roles included the Private Equity Investments group at GCM Grosvenor, conducting due diligence on venture capital, growth equity, and private equity managers on behalf of pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds, and the Strategy & Corporate Development team at GCM Grosvenor, driving firm-wide strategic initiatives.
Danny holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently registered with FINRA, with Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
